Mediation
Mediation in Weston-super-Mare
When communication breaks down, everything gets harder. Mediation offers a calmer way through.
As a neutral third person, I create a respectful, structured space where both sides can be heard, misunderstandings can settle, and you can work towards practical agreements you’ve shaped yourselves — rather than had imposed on you.
How I can help
I offer private mediation for:
- Separating and co-parenting couples — working through practical arrangements and communication, calmly and respectfully.
- Families — easing tension and rebuilding understanding between family members.
- Workplaces and communities — resolving disputes between colleagues, teams or neighbours before they escalate.

I am a mediation practitioner, trained in mediation and working towards full accreditation with the Family Mediation Council (FMC), practising under professional supervision. I offer private, voluntary, non-court mediation.
This means I do not currently provide court-connected services: I cannot conduct or sign a MIAM (Mediation Information and Assessment Meeting) certificate, sign court forms, or offer legal-aid (publicly funded) or voucher-funded mediation. If your situation needs any of those, I’ll happily point you toward an FMC-accredited service. What I offer is a genuine, human, private space to have the difficult conversations well.
Why mediation
- It’s usually calmer, quicker and less costly than adversarial routes.
- You stay in control of the outcome.
- It protects relationships and communication — which matters most when children are involved.
